Your role

As network security expert you will take part in the research and development of a large software project for network intrusion detection. You will work in a team of engineers and software developers to develop new software components with high reliability and performance requirements.

Responsibilities

• Analyse and assess cyber threats
• Support the development team
• Mentor, coach and train junior team members

Required skills

You are a motivated proactive team player, while at the same time, you work independently and manage your own deadlines

• You have excellent knowledge of network security, network monitoring, and/or network defence (at least 3 years)
• You have excellent knowledge of IT security auditing tools and practices (at least 2 years)
• You have very good knowledge and practical experience of the C++ programming language
• You possess very good communication skills
• You are fluent in written and spoken English

Desired skills

You have knowledge of the Java programming language.
